Deleting Trace

Hello

I would like to know if I want to delete a part of a trace how do I do that?

There is no way to delete just part of the trace.
However, one can insert a "scratch" elements that will scratch away part of a trace.
You can insert a scratch pad, trace or polygon.
An exampe is shown below.

Original trace:

Switch to "scratch" insert mode:

Pick the insert polygon tool ( this wil lbe active until cancelled):

Drag a rectangle around the area you want to erase:

Change D-Codes of Pads

Hello,

I have a set of pads that have the same D-Codes. I want to change the D-Codes of some of these pads. How can I do this?

To change the D Code of an existing element (or elements):

1. Select the element and/or elements.
2. Press "CTRL+T" or select "Edit->Edit Selection->Transcode".
3. Choose a new D Code number (ViewMate will suggest the first unused D Code).
4. Map the new D Code to the appropriate shape and size.
