How can I display a single net on multiple layers

Im using ViewMate Delux. I import gerber data and then want to be able to select a portion of a trace and highlight/select the entire trace. I can do it with everything on a single layer using "CONNECTED", but I need to show the entire trace. I thought I would be able to do it using CHAIN + BRANCHING, but that won't seem to do it either.

Is this possible to do, if so, how ?

This is not possible with ViewMate Deluxe.
In ViewMate Pro (and CAMMaster) there is the command "Tools/Netlist/Select Electrically Connected Elements" which will do what you need. Unfortunately this command is not included in ViewMate Deluxe (or ViewMate).
