Installing licensing fails on Vista or 7

The license string(s) need to be written to the folder where the product is installed.
This is, in most cases, a subfolder of "C:\Program Files". When the operating system is Vista or Windows 7, users do not have write access to these folders. This happens even if the user is an administrator when User Access Control is on (is Microsoft a bit over-cautious here?).
There are two solutions to this:
- disable User Access Control.
- run the program (ViewMate Deluxe etc.) by right-clicking on it and picking "Run as administrator". This needs to be done only once, to install the license strings.
